Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme Q&A, 10 June 2020

We are pleased to bring you this Q&A session held in partnership with Martin Searle Solicitors and delivered by Fiona Martin, Director and Head of Employment Law. The aim of the session is to help organisations decide how to cope with the Coronavirus crisis using the furlough Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme vs making people redundant, offering part-time work or salary sacrifice.

The session will cover:

• Who is eligible for furlough?
• Conditions that must be complied with
• Consultation and agreement
• Alternatives to furlough – salary sacrifice, part-time working and carrying out a fair redundancy/restructuring process
